What is USF doing to reduce spam? This is a featured page

USF uses PureMessage to filter spam into your USFconnect Junk E-mail folder. However, you should check whether any e-mails were incorrectly identified as spam.

PureMessage will create a junk folder the first time it tags an e-mail as spam, if one does not already exist. If you use an e-mail client, such as Eudora or Outlook, you may need to refresh your mailbox list for the junk folder to appear.

If you use Eudora or Outlook to access your USFconnect IMAP account, spam will be filtered to your Junk folder. However, if you use Exchange (i.e. you have a general account you check), you will need to create a rule in the Outlook Exchange client.
