Most quizzes/tests can be accessed only once. If you leave the quiz without completing it, you will not be able to come back and finish it. If you lose your Internet connection while taking a quiz, you will not be able to complete the quiz.
1. Make sure that the Blackboard window is maximized, meaning that it covers the entire computer screen.
2. Turn off any browser pop-up blockers, instant messaging programs or e-mail notification programs.
3. Log in directly to
Blackboard to avoid being timed-out by USFConnect.
4. If you use a dial-up modem to access the Internet and have call-waiting, turn it off.
5. If you use AOL to access the Internet, minimize the AOL window and use a different browser (Internet Explorer is recommended). However, AOL may not consider using a separate browser "online activity" and may terminate your connection without warning. Consider arranging alternative Internet access, such as from a USF computer lab, to take the quiz.
While taking the quiz, click the Forward arrow to move to the next question (not the Enter key).
Save your work frequently.
You must click the "Submit" button at the end of the quiz.
If you lose your Internet connection while taking a quiz, keep the quiz browser window open and try to re-connect to the Internet immediately. If you cannot re-connect, whether you are allowed to take the quiz again depends on your instructor.
