New Alpha accounts
Must be submitted by an
authorized department representative using the REQ utility on the Alpha system.
Alpha usernames and passwordsThe first time you log in to your account, you will be prompted to create a new password. Use caution when selecting a password. Also, keep in mind that for security reasons, Alpha system passwords expire every 90 days unless the user changes it manually. If you do not change your password within seven days of the expiration date, the system will not allow access to your account and you will need to contact the Alpha system Operations Manager to have your password reset. Teresa Poon is the contact for this. You should create a ticket in Remedy. Please make sure it is for alpha only and not the databases below.
Alumni Development System (ADS Plus)Tracks individual and corporate donors to USF. You must have Alpha and ADS accounts to view this info. For more info, contact Kristopher Young in University Advancement (young@usfca.edu, 415-422-2034).
Financial Records System (FRS Plus)Includes Accounts Payable, General and Subsidiary Ledgers accounting system, and Purchasing. You must have Alpha and FR accounts to view this information. Student Information System (SIS)Provides online student transcripts, class lists and other academic information for faculty and staff. You must have Alpha and SI accounts to view this information.
